This Assistant Chief Nurse Executive (ACNE) represents the functional knowledge, skills, abilities, and personal characteristics required to produce a set of activities that generate observable and measurable outcomes. Core competencies include the American Organization of Nurse Leaders (AONL) nurse executive competencies and are focused on developing an effective, accountable, and professional nursing workforce and nursing practice. This position is responsible for clinical nursing practice and establishing standards for patient care services, regulatory readiness, and achievement of clinical and patient experience results; collaboration to ensure safe and effective nurse staffing and integration with key areas to achieve efficient operations, patient flow, patient placement, and resource utilization. The scope of this role includes identified departments at Presbyterian Hospital and Presbyterian Kaseman Hospital. This position provides leadership for identified programs at Presbyterian Hospital and Presbyterian Kaseman Hospital, new programs, continuous improvement projects, and assists with cross departmental initiatives.
